How to Use the Screen Recorder on a Mac [TUTORIAL]

Good news for Mac users. Now you can record screen activity on your Mac. We are going to show you step by step instructions on how to use the screen recorder on a Mac. This screen recorder functions is free and it is included with QuickTime Player in Mac OS X 10.6 and later. For this you don’t need to download any additional software. Follow the steps carefully.

INSTRUCTIONS

STEP 1. Launch QuickTime Player

STEP 2. Now pull down the File menu and select “New Screen Recording” as shown in the below image.

STEP 3. Now press the Red button to start recording the screen activity

STEP 4. If you want to stop recording then press the Stop Recording button in the menu bar or click Command+Control+Escape

STEP 5. After the recording is stopped, the capture is opened in QuickTime Player automatically as “Screen Recording.mov” and now you can save it.
