Trick to Download Free Books from Google Books

This trick will allow you to download books (ebooks) for free fromGoogle Books. This is of course not a hack, but you can do this by applying the common internet technology. Whenever you open a site, it gets downloaded on to your computer first and then your browser displays the whole page. During the download, the whole page contents stay somewhere in your computer, right? Now if you can access those contents, you will get the raw files in your hand and this is the trick.
Google Books has got a collection of loads of books and adding more to it’s online library. Now Google allows users to either read or buy the book but does not allow users to download them. But using a simple trick, we can download Google books for free. Remember that you need to be the system administrator while doing this trick and this trick works on Internet explorer only.

How to Download Books from Google

  1. Open Internet Explorer
  2. Navigate to books.google.com and select the book you want to download
  3. Navigate to C:\Documents and Settings\% admin name%\Local Settings\Temporary Internet Files and delete everything from that folder
  4. Refresh the page on Internet Explorer and browse through all pages of the book that you want to download
  5. Now head to the above mentioned Temporary Internet Files folder and refresh it
  6. You will find many .PNG files over there. Copy all .PNG files and move it to an another folder
  7. These PNG files are the pages of the book that you were browsing, but in image format
  8. You are done.
