How to Enable Auto Login Feature in Windows 7

Auto login feature is used to get the user logged into the account without entering login details in logon box. You may want toactivate auto login feature in Windows 7 if you are using thesystem alone and don’t have got any other user profiles. By activating or enabling auto login in Windows 7, you can just start your computer and your system will get you logged in to your user account automatically. This tutorial will tell you the step-by-step methods to enable auto-login in Windows 7.

Enable Auto Login in Windows 7

  1. Press Windows + R keys to launch Run window
  2. Type control userpasswords2 and hit Enter key
  3. Windows 7 Auto Login
  4. Windows users advanced settings window will open, simply select the user account for which you want to enable auto login and uncheck the box Users must enter a username and password to use this computer
  5. Windows 7 Auto Logon
  6. Click OK >> Apply to save the changes you have made
  7. You are done.
Now your computer should get you logged in automatically without displaying any Logon box during startup.
