A new feature has been added to Gmail with Drag and Drop attachment files. But unfortunately Google allows this feature only on their Google Chrome browser right now. It isn’t clear when these features will come to Internet Exploere and Firefox as well as other browsers, but if you use Chrome then the new feature is available now.
When you receive an email with attachments, you can mouse-over on the file and simply drag and drop to your desktop.
