Use Gmail to Send Emails from Multiple Addresses

Most of us have more than one email account. Lets take me as an example. I am having email accounts with Gmail, Yahoo! mail and Hotmail. Whenever I have to check my mails, I will log into those three different accounts. Now if I have to send emails, I would also repeat the login in process. Now this is annoying. So, here I will tell you the process to use Gmail as the only email client to send and receive all your emails.

Gmail allows a user to integrate all his email accounts into one gmail account. In this way you can not only read all those emails account in your one gmail account, but also can send emails using those emails accounts ID. This is of course a great way to consume someone’s valuable time. Let me explain this.

Lets assume that you are having three email accounts.

1. Ankita.Mallick@gmail.com
2. Ankita@hotmail.com
3. Ankita_1989@yahoo.com

Now you can integrate Ankita.Mallick@gmail.com, Ankita@hotmail.com and Ankita_1989@yahoo.com and operate all the above email accounts from a single Gmail account.
Lets learn how.

1. Login to your Gmail account
2. Click on Settings
3. Click on Accounts tab
4. Now you can see a option "Send mail as"
5. Under this tab, click on "Add another email address you own"
6. Now you will get a pop up asking you to provide the Details of your new email account
7. Add any email IDs you want to integrate here. These integration feature is not limited to Gmail accounts only. You can add Yahoo, Hotmail, Rediffmail or any other email accounts . But that should be a valid one.
8. Now Gmail will send you a verification mail. Once you verify that email ID, your email address will get integrated with your Gmail account.
9. You are done. Congrats.

Now when you compose a new email, you’ll see an option to select from multiple address to send the mail. You will also be getting all incoming messages of those email accounts delivered to your Gmail account. Now keep using Gmail to send emails from multiple email addresses. Gmail is so advanced that you can even check Gmail without intenet connection with Google gear. But always remember to protect your Gmail account from hackrers.

Check Gmail Without Internet Connection With Google Gear

Gmail can now be accessed from your desktop even if you don’t have internet connection. Yes, you read it right. Now Gmail can be read in offline mode. This sounds interesting but it’s in beta stage as of now. Google launched this system under Google Labs and the software you need to use for this is called Google Gear. Lets discuss about this further.

This is more like Microsoft Outlook or Mozilla Thunderbird. All incoming mails automatically gets stored in your computer’s hard drive when you are connected to internet and later you can view all those mails on your desktop, no matter if internet is connected or not. Lets know how to do this.

1. Go to Gmail Settings –> Labs. Then enable the Offline Mode.
2. Install Gears. Now you will be able to use Gmail in offline mode.

Google has not started this feature in a broad manner. It’s in beta stage. Not everyone will get this feature as of now. You have to wait for sometime. They are giving this feature to people phase wise. And trust me, this is going to be more popular than Microsoft Outlook or Mozilla Thunderbird. Few reasons for this are:

1. This is a Google product
2. Gmail is the most used email
3. Microsoft Outlook is having a loads of bugs
4. Mozilla Thunderbird is not popular

So, this is worth waiting. And trust me, this is going to rule in everyone’s PC.
