Close The Current Tab By Double Click
Download ‘Close Tab by Double Click‘ Firefox addon, which enables you to close the tab by simply double clicking on it.
NOTE: if you have only one tab and the double click will close the current Firefox window then follow the following step to get rid from this -
- Type – about:config in adress bar
- Which will may prompt you a warning message, Click on ‘I’ll be careful, I promise’ button
- They Type – browser.tabs.closeWindowWithLastTabon Filter bar
- And change the value to false
Show Context Menu On Double Click
Download ‘DoubleClick ContextMenu‘ Firefox addon, which enables you to show context menu when you double click on any text.
Reload The Current Tab On Double Click
Download ‘Reload Tab On Double-Click‘ Firefox addon, which enable you to reload the current tab when you double-click on it. (and it does “full” / no-cache / hard reload if you hold SHIFT when double-clicking)
SHIFT + double click = reload the page skipping the browser cache
NOTE: In some cases, it can result in loss of data (with almost completed forms, etc).
Open Links In A New Tab By Double-Clicking On Them
